Some things to consider might be looking into the horror genre and which devices can help to tell your story. Good writers are also good readers. The more you read, the more inspired you will become to write. Find some good, horrific short stories that pique your interest. There is a collection by Stephen King that is beyond grotesque. Let me know if you want some titles.
Consider who could be a good mentor for you on this project. You might also think of writing communities that can help you edit and craft such as the IYWP. Also, I think my friend Akwi still does a youth writing group at CRPS. Let me know if you want the hook ups.
